Jared's Journey to Israeli Citizenship

A story of triumph: Jared was born to a Jewish mother, and grew up Jewish since birth. During COVID, Jared was offered a contract by Hapoel Haifa of the Winners League in Israel. Like any other Olim, Jared applied to for his right to return to his homeland. He was originially denied, for the Ministry of Interior (Israeli gov't) did not believe Jared's reason to return to Israel was not sincere. They did not accept Jared's mother as a Jew, which caused Jared to go above and beyond to prove his Jewishness. Jared decided to convert to Judaism through Rabbi Michael Beals of Congregation Beth Shalom in Wilmington, Delaware. Rabbi Beals didn't feel the need for Jared to convert, but felt it was necessary to take out all questions of the Israeli government.

After Jared's long conversion and teaching, Jared then went on a Birthright Israel, an free 10-day trip for Jews in America to tour the country of Israel, for the promotion of Jewish-Americans to want to move and live in Israel. Jared, reapplied after his trip, and was denied AGAIN, as they felt did not accept his conversion, which was done by a rabbi apart of the Rabbinical Assembly.

At the age of twenty-four, Jared fought against the Ministry of Interior, for his right to make Aliyah. Jared ended up attracting national media attention, and was featured in The Jerusalem Post, Israel Hayom, Haaretz, The Jewish News, Jewish Journal, and many more. Jared was also featured on I-24NEWS, Channel 12 News in Israel, as well as many pretigious podcast. He attracted the attention of the Jewish White House Liason, philatrophist, Former Knesset members, and prominent athletes.

At the end, Jared was granted Israeli citizenship, but not as a JEW! Jared was granted citizenship as a "special clause" that allows the interior minister to confer citizenship upon individuals who have made a special contribution the security or economy of the state, or for whom it has been determined that a “special interest” exists in their becoming citizens.
