"The Asiel Foundation" is a non-profit 501c3 corporation based in Philadelphia, and was created and founded by Jared Armstrong, a Jewish-American professional basketball player. In Hebrew, the word "Asiel" mean G-d has created. The foundation mission and goal is to prevent and stop hate, racism, and antisemitism through the game of sports and education. Jared believes that G-d has created every individual in their own image, and no one should ever be discriminated against due to race, religion or gender. The Asiel Foundation's goal is to educate and bring different communities together for culture understanding, social cohesion and unity, and social justice and equality. Jared plans to help orchestra our mission through sports camp, public speaking seminars, and educational courses.
